Venn Innovation Leading The Mission To Money20/20

Conference focused on the future of money

Moncton, NB (August 28, 2019): The financial technology (fintech) sector in Atlantic Canada is growing and companies are increasingly pushing their boundaries in order to scale and grow. It’s with this in mind that Venn Innovation will be taking Atlantic Canadian fintech companies to the Money20/20 conference in Las Vegas through the support of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency. Venn has identified Money20/20 as a key conference for companies that service financial institutions as clients or as partners to support the development of fintech solutions of the future.

Money20/20 is currently the biggest fintech event and it’s focused on the future of money. It’s the meeting point for the entire fintech, payments, and financial services industry and it’s the conference bringing thought leaders and disruptive innovators together with future players and partners from around the world.

“Money20/20 is the doorway to the epicenter of the Payments, Banking, Fintech and Financial Services ecosystem. As the home of the Money Revolution we unite captains of industry, dreamers, trailblazers, innovative thinkers and fearless leaders that hold the keys to fundamental changes in the way the world uses, spends, borrows and moves money.” – Money20/20 (us.money2020.com)

Companies participating in this mission will receive significant pre-mission support, training and matchmaking services from a fintech expert to help them prepare for the conference. They will have an opportunity to not only attend the conference but to take part as well in a Canadian networking event. Moreover, Venn will make sure that these companies receive post-mission support and aftercare to maximize opportunities for investment, partnership, and sales coming out of the conference.

“The Government of Canada is committed to protecting Canadian consumers and to equipping them with the tools and information they need to do business in a secure manner. Atlantic Canadian companies attending this conference will hear first-hand about the latest developments in the financial technologies sector and be able to integrate that knowledge into their own enterprises.” – The Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Minister of Health and Member of Parliament for Moncton–Riverview–Dieppe.

“Money20/20 represents a real opportunity for Atlantic Canada to showcase the innovative work happening in the fintech space, to network on a global scale and to find partners, resources and connections that will only help our region and companies grow. This is a key conference for anyone serving the financial industry, and Venn will undoubtedly make sure that the participating companies get the full value out of this conference.” – Alicia Ismach, Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Venn Innovation
