Venn Innovation - through its Atlantic Fintech initiative - will lead an in-person pan-Atlantic mission to Fintech Meetup in Las Vegas taking place March 3-6, 2024.
We are seeking applications from Atlantic Canadian companies for one of the available spots.

What is Fintech Meetup?
Fintech Meetup is a conference that focuses on facilitating meetings and connections by leveraging proprietary matching algorithms that deliver results. It draws from across the entire fintech ecosystem, covering over 130 categories of services and solutions.
In addition to meetings, there are presentations from industry thought leaders as well as content around the latest innovations, trends and technologies disrupting payments, and banking and financial services.
What can you expect from participating?
Participating companies can expect 8-10 (up to 24) double opt-in 15-minute arranged meetings with industry leaders and professionals. In addition, through this delegation, companies can access 3-6 hosted meetings with credit unions and small banks (<$100B under management), as well as merchants and retailers.
We are currently accepting applications for this program which includes:
· Up to two (2) tickets per company (current value $1,295 USD/ticket) and ability to buy additional tickets for team members at a discounted rate);
· 3-6 hosted meetings (depending on number of participating companies - value $650 USD/meeting); and
· 8-12 double opt-in meetings.
Cost to participate: $1,000 CAD (value up to $6,500 USD or approximately $9,000 CAD).
Companies are responsible for their own travel-related costs.

CyberTitan is one of Canada’s largest cyber defense competitions for high school and middle school students.
New Brunswick’s CyberTitan high school team has made it to the national finals (1 of 10 high schools across Canada to accomplish this!) and will be competing here at the Venn Garage..
The competition puts the student teams in real-world situations, tasked with finding cybersecurity vulnerabilities and hardening the system while maintaining critical services in a nine-hour period.
This one is for all #managers - new, aspiring or experienced, in businesses of all sizes and growth stages.
We are launching the AdvanceU #ManagementWorkshop series to help you discover (or rediscover) the management skills needed to deliver tangible business results.
Led by seasoned mentor and strategy coach Permjot Valia, this will be valuable to a wide range of professionals, from startup founders and new managers, to experienced managers who want to understand how to best manage their teams, given the changing workforce and working styles.
Workshop 3: Responding to a changing environment
It is often said that no business strategy survives first contact with a customer, and this is mostly true. In this workshop, you will explore avoiding this pitfall by having a solid plan that can detect and respond quickly to changes in the external environment. Building on the previous sessions, this workshop will give you practical skills to quickly identify change, so you can turn your growth strategy into one that is adaptable and responsive to said change.
